Plot
After learning martial arts in the mountains for 17 years, Yoichi Karasuma’s grandfather orders Yoichi to learn martial arts with the Ikaruga family in the city as he has nothing left to teach him. The current head of the Ukiha Divine Wind Style Swordplay school of martial arts, Ibuki Ikaruga and her siblings gradually accept Yoichi as a freeloader at their dojo. In addition to domestic problems, Yoichi deals with Washizu’s jealousy of Ibuki and Yoichi’s supposed relationship, school life and assassination attempts from the Saginomiya family.
Thoughts
I have to say I am a fan of harem, ecchi, fanservice, anime’s. This has all that plus sword fighting, albeit crappy, so this was a win in my book. I sat down and watch this in one go because it was easy enough to follow and I had a lot of fun watching it and watching the fun character development as the girls kind of fought over who would get Yoichi without doing much fighting. I really enjoyed the fairly light-hearted plot that just lets you have fun with it. If you Have an afternoon definitely sit down and enjoy yourself with this anime.
