Ookami Mio (大神ミオ) is the Japanese hololive-associated virtual YouTuber woman who started with Shirakami Fubuki, Nekomata Okayu and Inugami Korone as part of “hololive gamers.” (ホロライブゲーマーズ)

Fans and other hololivers often describe Mio as mature, responsible and elevated compared to her peers. In the Holo no animated graffiti short Mio is often seen to play a part of the “straightman” that reacts comparatively as a true person would to the absurd shenanigans of his colleagues or to the beginning of surreal situations. Even among the already extremely friendly hololive staff Mio is also regarded as exceptionally kind, with fans as well as peers often seeking their personal advice. This friendly and knowledgeable person earned her the popular “miom.”
Despite these mature characteristics, however, Mio is often considered one of the greatest frightened cats in hololive. Mio is one of the most susceptible to horror movies or fears in games about horror. The Holo No graffiti animated short stories also support this aspect of her personality; Mio is shown to be extremely easily frightened by fantasy stories, totally reluctant to remain alone in the dark and become almost catatonic when afraid.
She said that sometimes her wild, wolf-like instincts and compulsions are suppressed. Those compulsions included things like Tsunomaki Watame (a sheep girl) and Nekomata Okayu eating their coworkers (a cat girl).
She is also known as a talented singer by Shirogane Noel’s singing coach (who Noel describes as especially hard and difficult to impression), who remarked that she was extraordinarily docile after listening to Mio singing during the Toyosu pit live event.
