Street Fighter Duel: good news regarding the release of the RPG on mobile

Game news Street Fighter Duel: good news regarding the release of the RPG on mobile

Some have undoubtedly forgotten, and for good reason: Street Fighter Duel is an RPG planned for mobile… but intended for the Chinese public. Available in closed beta in China since 2019, released in its full version the following year, the title will now be aimed at everyone in the world.

China is a hot land when it comes to mobile gaming, and Capcom knows it. A bit like Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat, the Osaka firm has therefore subcontracted (here to Tencent) the development of a Street Fighter game, planned only for Android and iOS, intended for Chinese players: in this case, it is a “Team Building” RPG where the clashes are organized with squads of three fighters, sometimes drawn from the cast of Street Fighter, sometimes created for the occasion.

In short, all this to say that if the game (named Street Fighter: Duel, by the way) has been available in China since 2020 already, a location has just been made official during the last weekend of the Capcom Pro-Tour: the application will therefore indeed experience a worldwide release, and therefore offer itself to the lands of the Old Continent. On the other hand, no date, or even window, was given. Let’s be patient.
