It’s fair to say that the most recent incarnation of Oddworld Inhabitants has given us reason to be fond of them. Unfortunately, his pre-launch condition has put a halt to our excitement. However, the developers had previously said that they will make repairs, and they are now in the process of doing so.
Oddworld: Soulstorm has received a new patch that fixes the vast majority of the problems and issues that plagued the game since its release last year. Lorne Lanning took to Facebook to express his gratitude to Abe’s admirers, telling them that the most recent polishing job was a success. The podcast We Just Like Games has a Facebook profile.
Following a meeting with our community on April 6, we made a commitment to continue working on Oddworld : Soulstorm until completion. As a result, they have been outstanding. They have provided us with invaluable feedback that has assisted us in identifying, recreating, and correcting the problems/bugs. Since the release of our original version, we’ve published seven updates to the software.
In addition, we are pleased to announce that the gameplay of Oddworld: Soulstorm has been optimized across all platforms. No game is free of glitches, but the version of the game that you can download right now from the PlayStation Store, the PlayStation Store, and the Epic Games Store is one that we are really pleased with and believe you will like. Corrections of major importance – The list
We received several requests from Oddworld fans who wanted to be able to turn off the HUD. We listened to their requests and created the option to turn off the HUD. In addition, they did not want anybody to know where each Mud was located in relation to Abe, or how much health they had left at the time of each photograph.
The IA of the Sligs has been corrected in its entirety: the Sligs are no longer obstructed or locked in an abnormal state. They are now more precise in their responses to noise and are more determined in their behavior, resulting in less unpredictable behavior.
- Abe’s movement code has been precisely controlled, making it appear more natural to control Abe. Ses movements are made in a swift and straight manner in your direction.

We’ve fixed the problem with the portion where managing the mortiers would have been extremely difficult. - General corrections: We’ve fixed a slew of issues that were caused by individual miner mistakes but which combined to ruin the overall gaming experience, such as the deactivation of mines, Mudokons that scurried in and out of casiers, coincée scie lames, and a variety of other items.
The system of improved clavier mapping has been developed for personal computers (PCs). - Cinématiques manquantes : a few players were familiar with the term “cinematiques manquantes.” We were able to identify a problem that required a specific set of movements in order to be activated, and we were able to disable the bug.
