Higuchi Kaede (樋口楓) is a female member of the Nijisanji virtual YouTuber collective. Tsukino Mito and Shizuka Rin, two other VTubers, form the “JK gumi” collective.

Kaede is a virtual Kansai high school sophomore. She’s a tall woman with a toned body. It was a childhood dream of hers to play the trumpet, and she’s now a proud member of a brass and concert band. She is a fashionista who enjoys spending time with her cat. She became a VTuber because she wants more people to know about the topics she enjoys.
With her silver hair in a high ponytail tied with a white ribbon, she’s a stunning young woman. Naande! (なぁーんで!) is a common expression for her “nah-ha-ha” laugh. Whaat!). It is said that her Kansai dialect slips through when she tries to speak in standard Japanese, and this results to her own unique lexicon, such as “Marumaru piiman” (○○ピーマン XYZ bell pepper) and the phrase, “Manji no jijou” ((卍の二乗 Manji squared). She is from the “Kansai region of the virtual world.” In addition to being the most youthful of the three members of the High School Girl Gang, she speaks in the most schoolgirl-like manner and is sometimes referred to as “the Nijisanji Highschool Girl”
