On 1 October, the new generation of consoles ‘FIFA 22’ will provide more realistic football

The earlier systems, PCs and Stadia are here as well.

If EA plays on the next-gen platforms, it does not provide Madden’s NFL players an update. The released FIFA 22, the main part of which is a new “HyperMotion” technology, delivers more realistic animation and gameplay during a PlayStation 5, Xbox X/S or Google Stadia game. The technique utilizes the machine to make animations in real time that lead to more “organic” movement. At addition HyperMotion allowed EA to record movement for pro-soccer players, including super-stars like Kylian MbappĂ© in Paris Saint-Germain.

PS4, Xbox One, and PC are also in the game (via Origin and Steam). The Nintendo Switch will be presented with a FIFA 22 Legacy Edition but EA has no differences.

Fortunately, no matter which platform you are using, there are other significant improvements. A full redesign of the goaltender’s system, a fresh experience with the club in Career Mode, Volta Football “re-thought” and a FIFA Ultimate Team Heroes package, representing the famous players’ tales, have been suggested by the EA.

For all supported platforms FIFA 22 will be published on 1 October.

Like Madden, it is obvious that EA is not fully prepared to abandon prior platforms compatibility. It is not surprising, given the bigger player population and lack of PS5 and Xbox Series users. This is not surprising. However, the gaming giant wants to provide an important incentive for new computers to play. Don’t get shocked if PS4 and Xbox One get trimmed in FIFA 23.
