On Sunday the live broadcast “KONOSUBA Channel from Isekai Museum” announced the development of a new KonoSuba – God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World!
Anime was green-light.

Natsume Akatsuki’s Konosuba light series focuses on Kazuma, a shut-in student who dies after death but encounters the Goddess Aqua. He is offered the opportunity to reincarnate in a realm of imagination and can keep him one thing. They both are sent to their new life when he decides to pick Aqua himself. Their efforts are to earn enough to buy food, housing and clothing. The magician Megumin and swordswoman Darkness are finally hired, and they are fast to find that they are just as worthless.
Two television anime seasons were inspired by original light novels. In January 2016, the first season debuted and in January 2017, the second. The anime film KONOSUBA, “God’s Blessing on This Wondrous World,” premiered in August 2019 in Japan. In November 2019, Crunchyroll and Fathom Events showed the film in the United States.
The novel series finished in May 2020 with the 17th volume.
