Kanata is an angel who is now a full-fledged angel at the Heaven Academy. She’s 18 years old now. (She says it’s her “angel age,” but said that it’s the same as her human age in past streams.)
Kanata is extremely sweet, courteous, friendly and humorous. She is a little quieter and more reserved compared to contemporaries in the fourth generation of Hololive and her sense of humor is usually less crass or vulgar.
She admits, however, that she has a playful “sadistic” streak, usually manifesting itself in teasing her audience or in playing blows on her fellow Hololive members. She has also admitted that she’s very shy and that she sometimes tries to hide her around others with a “cool façade.” Kanata is also noticed by viewers as genuinely somewhat innocent and even a little naive, leading to the (joyous) worry that other hololive members, such as Kiryu Coco and Natsuiro Matsuri, might “corrupt” her.
