An upgrade not free at all
In the same vein as Dark Souls and others from From Software, Mortal Shell is an action-oriented role-playing game in which the player is often made to die. But Sony subscribers who have the PS5 could not enjoy it in the best possible conditions, at least not for free. This summer, it was the team behind the game Greedfall who indicated that the bundled version of the game on the PlayStation Plus was not eligible for the PS5 upgrade.
A Sony bias? In any case, such a policy differs from that of its direct competitor, Microsoft: Mortal Shell and Greedfall are both available on Game Pass and are compatible with the Smart Delivery, the upgrade system crossgen from Xbox. That’s good, Sony wants to change strategy.
