Sony Interactive Entertainment America has opened a page to register an opportunity for existing PlayStation users to become one of the first opportunities to pre-order PlayStation 5 from PlayStation Direct.
“The quantity of PS5 consoles that can be pre-purchased is limited, so we’re going to invite some of the existing consumers to be the first to buy from PlayStation,” the page reads.
“Pre-orders are placed on a first-come, first-served basis, so when you receive an invitation by email, we recommend that you follow the instructions and act quickly. 」
Users can register here using their PlayStation Network ID.
According to the FAQ, users will be invited “based on their previous interests and PlayStation activities.” If selected, you will be contacted by email before the start of the pre-order. If you don’t receive an email, you’re not selected.
