About
Pekora comes from the Pekoland nation, where she claims to be a royalty member. Although not much is currently well-known about Pekoland, it is assumed that its inhabitants are human animals with rabbit ears and a relatively long lifetime like Pekora and that the rabbit motif apparent in the mode and accessories of Pekora is significant for their culture. According to Pekora, “peko” is the only Pekolandic word. Pekora’s character can be described as externally bright, haughty, immature and surly, but really playful and friendly in line with her claims of royal upbringing. But other hololive girls noticed her not on camera as polite and shy as she doesn’t like people in her space, and she also noticed her pain internalized (as Hoshou Marine noted) which prematurely ended with one of its streams with her in tears.
Pekora is notorious for misfortune, to the extent that other hololive members instantly become suspicious of any project if they learn about Pekora. While her intended victim is generally Sakura Miko, nobody, not even herself, is exempt from her trolling. Pekora’s fans display the same attitude appropriately and are known to pitilessly tease her when the opportunity arises. Despite everything, Pekora still wants to be recognized as a genuine idol, but fans mainly consider her to be a “comedian” and a “love rabbit” that is not aided by her constant talk of misfortune, which often is self-inflicted. Something always turns back on her, even if she is in an idol-like scenario. She is also well-known to be able to flip between smuggling and desperately beg help/forgiving almost instantly, depending on whether she has the upper hand.
Pekora has a distinctive laugh (often presented as “AH Today HA THA FOR HA HA ALL”) that resembles that of an older woman aristocrat, and she often interjects her sentences with the “-peko” suffix, although she is known to sometimes forget it. She often interjects her sentences with a suffix. She claims her dominance by crying “PE↗ KO↘ PE↗ KO↘ PE↗ KO↘”
